1. TENDER INVITATION

On behalf of the South African National Roads Agency SOC limited (SANRAL), Q&A Engineers (Pty) Ltd,

request quotations for materials testing laboratories for the Emergency Routine Road Maintenance on National

Route R704 Sections 2 From Jagersfontein (Km 0.00) To Fauresmith (Km 10.00).

ANNEXURE A – LOCALITY PLAN

Quotations are requested from SANAS Accredited Materials Testing Laboratories (ISO 17025) to carry out

materials investigations associated with the Emergency Routine Road Maintenance on National Route R704

Sections 1 To 2, National Route R705 Sections 1 To 2, And National Route R48 Section 7, in the Xhariep

District Municipality and National Route R64 In the Lejweleputswa District Municipality. This project is in the

Free State Province and in the District Municipality of Xhariep and Lejweleputswa for the construction period

of 3 months commencing in December 2025.

The tenderers will be evaluated on functionality (quality) criteria with a threshold of 65%.

CLOSING TIME, COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF RFQ

Closing date on Wednesday, 19 November 2025 at 16:00 am at SANRAL Eastern Region Office KZN.
