Rail Refurb invites experienced and suitably qualified Contractors to submit quotations for specialized works under SANRAL Contract X.004-145-2025/1 EMERGENCY ROUTINE ROAD MAINTENANCE ON NATIONAL ROUTE R704 SECTIONS 1 TO 2, NATIONAL ROUTE R705 SECTIONS 1 TO 2, AND NATIONAL ROUTE R48 SECTION 7, IN THE XHARIEP DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY AND NATIONAL ROUTE R64 IN THE LEJWELEPUTSWA DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY.

On behalf of the South African National Roads Agency. This project is in the province of the Free State and in the Xhariep and Lejweleputswa District Municipality.

Preference is offered to prospective Bidders from the targeted area, namely South Africa as well as the CIDB grades and classes indicated as / where required. This RFQ will be evaluated in terms of functionality criterion and the price and preference points system and Company experience. Bidders who satisfy the following criteria are eligible to submit RFQs:

Valid B-BBEE Level 1 or 2 contributor.

Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).

Registered as “active” with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) in the relevant contractor grade and class designation.

CIPC Document.

An award will only be made to preferred Bidders that are:

Compliant with the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COID); and

Tax Compliant.
