TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1) Naidu Consulting (Pty) Ltd invites tenders on behalf of the Applicant, the South African National Roads Agency SOC limited, for the subservice of managing the environmental process and monitoring environmental compliance during construction for the construction of a new dual carriageway on new alignment of National Route 2 Section 1 from De Beers Interchange (km 38.6) to Broadlands Road (km 45.4) This project is in the province of Western Cape and in the Cape Town Metropolitan Area. The approximate programme for design is to be completed by October 2024, followed by construction monitoring of 36 months, commencing August 2025. Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database as stated in the Tender Data, Clause 4.1.1 are eligible to tender. TENDER DOCUMENTS Tender documents are available at no cost in electronic format downloaded from the SANRAL’s website by the following link https://www.nra.co.za/sanral-tenders/status?region_id=western Tenderers must have access to MS Office ©2013 and Acrobat Adobe ©9.0, or similar compatible software. Tenderers must submit, via email Mohamed.Parak@naiduconsulting.com, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender before 26 July 2024. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive, if “any material amendment/s” contained in the addenda or additional information is not included in the tender offer/submission. TENDERER’S MEETING A non-compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held via a virtual platform on Wednesday 31 July 2024 at 10:00 where the project will be presented. A link to the clarification briefing meeting will be sent to Tenderers who complete and submit a Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender (Form A1.1). COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11h00 on Friday 16 August 2024. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, email, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data. Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
