 The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) on behalf of Bovicon ONMi JV invites Joint Ventures between suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratories and Targeted Partners for the undertaking of the site laboratory sub-services in accordance with SANS 3001 for the Upgrade of Gravel Roads P133, P143 and D182 in Lidgetton. This project is in the province of Kwa-Zulu Natal and in the district municipality of uMgungundlovu and the approximate duration is 15 months, commencing 01 August 2024 Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

 The tenderers will be evaluated on functionality (quality) criteria with a threshold of 65%..Only tenderer who are a Joint Ventures (JV), meet the minimum requirements for the key persons and are registered on CSD as stated in clause C 2.1 will be eligible to tender.

Tenderers must submit, via email, ProcurementER8@sanral.co.za  the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to 10 July 2024.  Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

TENDERER’S MEETING

Non-compulsory clarification meeting (Virtual)

A tender clarification briefing presentation is available to be downloaded from the SANRAL website by the following link https://www.nra.co.za/sanral-tenders/status?region_id=national . 

 A non- compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held via a virtual platform on 10 July 2024 at 10H00 where the project will be presented. A link to the clarification briefing meeting will be sent to tenderers who complete and submit a Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender (Form A1.1).

Late arrivals will not be allowed to participate in the meeting and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive. A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the tender briefing meeting.

 COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

 The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 11:00 on 2 August 2024

 Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted
