TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)

CLOSING DATE (AT 11:00): On April 12, 2023

Imbawula Civil Project on behalf of the South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced IT service providers to subcontract for the development and maintenance of an interactive web-based database under SANRAL: C.004-042-2019/1: Training Service Provider to Conduct SMME Accredited Training on behalf of the South African National Roads Agency for the National Route 2 and National Route 3 upgrades in the Eastern Region. This project is located in KwaZulu Natal Province. The approximate programme is for a period of twelve (36) Months.

The project work shall include:

•                  • Design, development and maintenance of a new web-based database system

•                  • Integration with SANRAL Integrated Transportation Information System (ITIS)

•                  • Installation and configuration

•                  • Operational, performance and security testing

•                  • Full documentation including but not limited to operational, administration and backup procedures

•                  • Technical training for imbawula Civil Project personnel and any other required personnel

•                  • Operational training for other users and user manual

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender within seven (7) days from the tender advertisement date. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

•                  • Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

•                  • Only tenderers with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1 to 4 are eligible to tender.

•                  • Bidders must be already engaged in the provision of similar end-to-end systems and services, comprising supply, installation and implementation of website software and services.
