FOR THE ROUTINE ROAD MAINTENANCE OF NATIONAL ROUTE N2X SECTION 19 (KM 0.00) TO SECTION 20 (KM 69.35) AND NATIONAL ROUTE R396 SECTION (6 KM 39.31 TO KM 61.18). CONTRACT SANRAL X.003-035-2019/2
| Tender Notice: | The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the Routine Road Maintenance of National Route N2X Section 19 (km 0.00) to Section 20 (km 69.35) and National Route R396 section (6 km 39.31 to km 61.18) . This project is in the province of the Eastern Cape and in the districts of Alfred Nzo and OR Tambo and in the local municipalities of King Sabata Dalinyebo, Nyandeni, Mhlontlo and Umzimvubu. The approximate duration is 36 months. CIDB Regulation 25 (1B) will be applicable to this contract. Only tenderers with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1, 2, 3 or 4, who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database at the tender closing date; and meet the stipulated minimum threshold for local content and production as stated in the Tender Data are eligible to tender. Only tenderers that meet all the eligibility criteria under clause 4.1.1 of the Tender Data will be considered. It is estimated that tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 6CE or higher, however, tenderers attention is drawn to clause 4.1.1 of the Tender Data when submitting their tender. Tenders from tenderers registered as potentially emerging enterprises but with a CIDB contractor grading designation lower than a contractor grading designation determined in accordance with the sum tendered, or a value determined in accordance with Regulation 25(1B) or 25(7A) of the Construction Industry Development Regulations, will not be accepted. This tender includes the following compulsory subcontracting as in the Appendix to Tender: Contract Data subclause D.
